HARROD — Ada improved to 2-0 in Northwest Conference volleyball play with a 26-24, 25-16, 25-15 win over Allen East on Thursday. The Bulldogs, who were led at the net by Megan Light’s 12 kills and 5 blocks, improve to 7-4 overall.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan swept Graham 25-19, 25-16, 25-23 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball match on Thursday night. Sarah VanDyke led the charge for the Raiders with 11 kills, 5 aces and 3 blocks, while Molly Vance tallied 12 kills.

BELLEFONTAINE — Graham’s Andy Milligan fired a 29 as the Falcons defeated Ben Logan 152-175 in a Central Buckeye Conference golf match on Thursday.

ADA — Chris Reyes scored the lone goal to lift Ada to a 1-0 win over Cory-Rawson in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match on Thursday afternoon. Brendan Sheridan had an assist for the Bulldogs, while Drew Hadley made saves in goal.

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta defeated Kenton in four games 25-16, 15-22, 19-25, 25-23 in a Western Buckeye League volleyball match on Thursday. No other information was received from the match. Kenton travels to Lima Senior on Tuesday.

Kenton will be looking to show it is a challenger for the Western Buckeye League title this season when Wapakoneta visits for Parents’ Night at Robinson Field on Friday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

With both teams suffering losses by large deficits last weekend, Ada and Upper Scioto Valley will be looking to rebound at home in Week 4. Ada (1-2) tries to snap a two-game skid when it hosts Delphos Jefferson (1-2) in its homecoming matchup at War Memorial stadium on Friday night.

BLUFFTON — Kenton won the top two singles matches and split the doubles matches to claim a 3-2 win over Bluffton in a non-league girls tennis matchup on Wednesday. At No. 1 singles, the Wildcats’ Mykaela Schriber topped Bluffton’s Erin Hotmire 6-3, 6-2; while in the No, 2 match it was Kelsey Flowers over Olivia Barnes 6-4, 6-0.
