Johnson captures third in DII state discus competition COLUMBUS — Kenton senior Lauren Johnson and her mom made a deal going into Friday’s Division II state discus competition that a third place finish would earn her a $50 state meet sweatshirt. It proved motivation enough for Johnson as she earned that sweatshirt, placing third by setting a personal and KHS record with a throw of 139 feet 3 inches. Read More
