The Kenton Tennis Kids Camp began Thursday and continues today and into next week. The camp has seen about 50 students participating this year and, according to girls tennis coach Bethany Shafer, who has been leading the camp, that number for this community is “pretty incredible.”

The second farm Indians defeated the Padres on Thursday night 13-1. Leading the way for the Tribe were Domanic Sloan, Solomon Petty and Landon Hunsaker who all went 3-3.

The 17th annual Junior Golf Clinic, sponsored by Kate Johnson and presented by David Brim, was held Tuesday. This year’s clinic was in memory of Mike Wood. There were 30 juniors attending.

The Kenton Wildcats earned the top spot in the Indiana University 7-on-7 tournament held this past weekend.

The Trophy Bassmasters of Kenton held a very productive bass tournament this past weekend at Lake Erie and its surrounding harbors. Fourteen anglers competed during the eight-hour day.
