ONU dedicating new softball stadium today

ADA — Ohio Northern University will dedicate its new state-of-the-art softball facility – Durbin-Hileman Softball Stadium – today at 11:30 a.m. 

The stadium is named for lead donors Melinda (Durbin) Hileman and David Hileman, ONU alumni and longtime supporters.

The stadium is home to the university’s women’s softball team. It features large dugouts, a new scoreboard with updated technology, padded backstop, upgraded press box, permanent bleachers with bucket seating and field lighting.

Following the ceremony, the Polar Bears will face off against Mount Union in an afternoon doubleheader with games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
