County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan approved by FEMA Hardin County received final federal approval for its All Hazard Mitigation Plan on March 26. According to an approval letter from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region V in Chicago, Hardin County met all criteria for the plan that now establishes eligibility for a full complement of Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants.
