A Cincinnati man will be going to prison after he was caught red-handed stealing from a garage. According to Hardin County Common Pleas Court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Sabastian Edward Caudill, aka Sebastian Edward Caudill, forced his way into a garage owned by Dave Rigdon on Oct. 21 and began to move items.

John G. Preston, 5611 Ohio 81, Ada – speeding 30 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $150. Fined $25 for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone were: Heather K. Bickle, 1003 W. Carey St., Kenton; and Robert Elsasser, 328 Scott Ave., Kenton. Madison Ellis, Delphos – speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15. Adrian J. Gross, 702 Elm St., McGuffey – speeding 46 mph in a 25 mph zone, one prior offense, fined $85.

An Ada woman was placed on community control for five years after she admitted to stealing a credit card from the wallet of a car and going on a shopping spree for cigarettes and candy. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Angelica Lynette McClain, 714 S. Main St., Ada, found a wallet in the car of a parked car on S. Johnson Street, Ada. McClain removed the wallet from the vehicle and proceeded to the 302 Carryout, where she purchased $65.56 in candy and cigarettes.

A former Allen East music teacher’s appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court has been dismissed and he was ordered to report to the Multi-County Correctional Center today to begin serving his sentence on charges that he had inappropriate contact with a former student.

The mother of a Kenton man is suing officials in Allen County after her son died while in their custody. According to the Findlay Courier, Brady Hoop, 23, of Kenton, was incarcerated April 10, 2017 in the Allen County jail.

FINDLAY — An Arlington man who was captured in Hardin County is facing criminal charges in Hancock County after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend and her daughter with a hatchet at their home. According to the Findlay Courier, Brandon Pinks, 37, got into an argument with Breanna Lemos at their home at 219 W. Main Cross St., Arlington at about 8 a.m. on April 1.
