Simon Kenton School kicked off Disabilities Awareness Month with a breakfast on Friday, March 1. During the program, Brianna Truman (left) spoke about her job at Precision Strip and Tiffany Mustain talked about raising a child with a disability and working with the early intervention and preschool staff at Simon Kenton.

The Hardin County Family YMCA will host its 4th annual Family Fitness Expo on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. Participating along with the Y are Ohio Northern University, Healthy Lifestyles Coalition and WIC.

McGUFFEY — The McGuffey Memory Room (MMR) is sponsoring a veterans luncheon on Saturday, March 30 at the McGuffey community building at 11:30 a.m. Veterans from McGuffey and Alger and their families are invited to attend what is hoped to become an annual event.

The Ada Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Community Health Professionals. Kathy Jo Dove will present a program, “CBD Oil and Its Uses.”
