KCS board OKs 1.5% raises for administrators, supervisors, staff The Kenton Board of Education approved 1.5 percent raises for the 2019-2020 school year for administrators, supervisors and classified staff not part of a bargaining unit at its meeting Monday night. Money in works for swimming pool plans The Kenton Parks and Recreation Board hopes to get a head start on preparing the city’s swimming pool for the 2020 season. Jesse Purcell, a member of the board, made the case to City Council's Finance Committee on Monday night for an appropriation of $2,250 to get the task underway. The committee agreed to include the amount in an ordinance to be before council at its meeting on Aug. 26. Read More
