A 90th birthday celebration for Dave Mullett will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 in the Little Chicago Room, U.S. 68 South, Kenton.

Commodity boxes, which provide food for seniors, will be available Thursday at the Kenton Full Gospel Bread of Life Food Pantry, 129 N. Wayne St. Provided by the West Ohio Food Bank, the boxes can be picked up beginning at 10 a.m.

ADA — The Ada Senior Citizens meeting for Wednesday, Jan. 10 has been canceled. President Cloe Cole said, “With the unpredictable weather and the number of our members who are suffering from winter-related illnesses, we made the decision to cancel this meeting.”

Staff and residents at Hardin Hills Health Center take part in a Christmas spirit week, starting out with Christmas headgear. The rest of the week consists of Christmas socks, Christmas pajamas, Christmas sweaters and favorite Christmas outfit.
