Chapter 32 of the Blue Star Mothers visited the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center on Feb. 17 to recognize veterans. They presented each with a gift bag and expressed appreciation to the residents for their service.

A noon meal is served for people ages 60 and older at the Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton, 419-673-1102, at 11:30 a.m. weekdays.

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center celebrated Valentine’s Day with a party and crowning of Queen Marie Liggette and King Roger Harpster.

Activity staff at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab prepared a homemade meal for couples for Valentine’s Day.

Each year, the Kenton Kroger store invites its customers to purchase Valentine balloons to be delivered to various locations in Hardin County, including the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center.

If you’ve ever received a birthday card, thank-you card, party invitation or package in the mail, Feb. 4 was the day to express your thanks, and that’s just what Kenton Nursing and Rehab residents and staff did.

ADA — There will be a senior dance from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Restore Community Center, 210 N. Main St., Ada.

Marie Liggette was among the Hardin Hills ladies who got to enjoy an afternoon of being glammed up for a photo shoot. Activity staff put make up on them and dolled them up for their pictures.
