MARION — Marion Harding scored 12 runs in the first inning and cruised from there on the way to a 20-0 five-inning win over Ridgemont in a non-league baseball contest Monday. Three Marion Harding pitchers - Devin Dillinger, Aaron Pirnstill and Aiden Davis - combined to throw a perfect game, striking out eight batters.

McGUFFEY — Perry scored three or more runs in four of the five innings it batted, including nine in the fourth inning, on the way to a 20-0 baseball victory over Upper Scioto Valley on Monday afternoon. The Rams, who trailed 5-0 after one inning and 8-0 after two innings, fall to 3-10 on the season and 2-3 in the NWCC.

The Kenton Middle School baseball teams defeated River Valley 4-2, 6-1 in a doubleheader on Saturday. In game one, Sam Taylor and Eli Kauble combined to strike out five batters and walk three. Kauble struck out three in the last inning to close the game.

ELIDA — Ada swept all three singles matches on the way to a 4-1 tennis victory over Elida on Monday afternoon. Claiming singles wins for Ada were Cade Mullins, Isaac Spar and Miranda Wills.

LIMA — Brady Hipsher won three events to lead the Upper Scioto Valley track teams in a quad meet at Lima Perry on Monday afternoon. Perry won the boys meet with 106 points, followed by USV with 58, Calvary Christian with 25 and Ridgemont with 16.

ADA — Host Ada swept Upper Scioto Valley 5-2, 20-14 in a non-league baseball doubleheader at War Memorial Park on Saturday. The Bulldogs got off to a strong start in game one, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning.

ADA — Ada swept a softball twinbill from Upper Scioto Valley by scores of 6-2 and 14-6 on Saturday afternoon. In game one, the Bulldogs answered a two-run USV first inning with four runs of their own and then held off the Rams the rest of the way before adding a pair of insurance runs in the sixth.

The Ben Logan softball team cruised to a pair of wins over Kenton, 15-1 and 23-2, in a doubleheader on Saturday. In game one, the Raiders took advantage of 12 Kenton errors as they scored four runs in the first inning and four more in the third to take control of the game.

DOLA — Arlington swept a doubleheader from Hardin Northern 15-5, 15-3 in non-league baseball action on Saturday. In game one, the Red Devils took control with a five-run second inning.

BELLEFONTAINE — The host Ben Logan baseball team defeated St. Marys and Riverside to win the Micah Gregg Memorial Tournament on Saturday. In game one the Raiders needed to score three runs in the bottom of the seventh to post an 11-10 victory.
