Hardin Northern pulls away in second half

LIMA — Hardin Northern pulled away in the second half Wednesday for a 55-27 victory over Lima Perry in girls basketball action. The Polar Bears (10-11) led 25-21 at halftime before outscoring Perry 13-0 in the third quarter and 17-6 in the fourth.

ONU rolls to victory

TIFFIN — The No. 11-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team posted a 70-51 victory over Heidelberg Wednesday evening at Seiberling Gymnasium. The Polar Bears improve to 19-3 overall and 14-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Student Princes fall to 9-13, 7-8.

Award-winning Relay

The Relay for Life of Hardin County raised more than $75,000 for the American Cancer Society in 2015, earning it an “All-American Relay” award and runners-up for the national “Heart of Relay – Youth Engagement” award.
