BLUFFTON — Riverdale lost a pair of dual matches Tuesday night, falling 43-15 to Delphos Jefferson and 37-16 to Bluffton.

ELIDA — The Kenton Youth Wrestling team had five boys finish in first and six place second Sunday at the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association mini-meet hosted by Elida. Tommy Mustain, Anthony Hunt, Harris Kuykendall and Kole Anspach all went undefeated to place first.

A proposal to create a nature trail at Saulisberry Park was presented to the Kenton Parks and Recreation Board at its meeting Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Scott Johnson is leading the effort to develop the Warriors First project, which would provide camping for veterans at the park southwest of the city.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale Elementary School has announced its honor roll for grades 3-5 for the second nine weeks of the 2015-2016 school year.

The Hardin County Fair honorees for 2016 were announced at the Hardin County Agricultural Society meeting on Saturday night. Mary Lou Haley and Annetta Holmes were chosen for the recognition, announced Craig Stump from the board’s Executive Committee. They worked in the home economics department at the fair for many years before retiring after the 2015 fair.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgeway council agreed Tuesday evening to make the town’s cemetery a focus of its attention for 2016.

ADA — The Ada Exempted Village School District kindergarten registration for the 2016-2017 school year will be held the week of March 7-11.
