Road Riders for Jesus, a Christian Motorcycle Ministry, will be holding a fundraiser ride on Saturday, June 11, starting at Payne Chapel, 437 N. Market St., Kenton.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton will hold Vacation Bible School from 9:30 a.m. to noon June 13-17 in the St. Anthony Center. People can register by calling the office, 419-675-1162 or come on June 13. All are welcome. Lunch will be provided, no cost to attend. This year’s theme is Barnyard Roundup.

McGUFFEY — Randy Hopkins gets up early on Tuesday mornings during the summer. The retired factory worker doesn’t have a clock to punch. His job on Tuesdays is to make sausage gravy for the children and senior citizens of McGuffey. It is a job Hopkins does with a smile.

Vacation Bible School pre-registration will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Kenton Full Gospel Church, 129 N. Wayne St. There will be free popcorn and cotton candy to all that register Saturday.

CAREY — The Conventual Franciscan Friars welcome all to the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, for a special Year of Mercy celebration on Sunday, June 5. The Most Reverend Daniel Thomas, Bishop of the Toledo Diocese will preside at the noon Mass.

Celebratory events are planned throughout the year to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kenton.
