Wildheart Rehabilitators: Bald eagle shot

In a news release dated 3/30/15, the ODNR Division of Wildlife is continuing to seek information from the public on the shooting of a bald eagle in Preble County. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspected poachers.

Filling the eggs

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center residents prepare for the annual Easter Egg Hunt by filling plastic eggs all week. The residents really enjoy this event and work very hard at it. Although they know it’s over in one minute, they can’t wait to see the kids’ faces.

Appraising antiques

The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center hosted an Antiques Roadshow of its own. Lavonne Eastman of Mount Victory appraised various items brought in, including an 1803 sampler brought in by Melanie and John Johnson.

Easter manicures

Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center residents enjoyed a special treat when Julia Storer, “Nails by Julia,” a manager/nail technician, gave the ladies creative manicures just in time for Easter.

Pizza party

Residents at Hardin Health and Rehab enjoy an afternoon pizza party. During the chilly season, Activity staff orders in pizza for the residents. They ordered from Jimmy’s Pizza this time.

Poet slated at ONU
