Hardin County Treasurer Denise Althauser is reminding all property owners that real estate tax payments are due by Wednesday, July 11. The last day to pay manufactured home (trailer) tax in Hardin County without penalty is Wednesday, July 25.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for more than 15 years and was labeled a sexual offender after he pleaded guilty to seven sex-related charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Jeromy Andrew Ramge, 7772 CR 167, Kenton, admitted to three counts of gross sexual imposition and four charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

A Dunkirk man was placed on community control after pleading guilty to charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Lonnie Ray Slone, 461 S. Walnut St., Dunkirk, admitted to kicking in the door at the home of his ex-wife, also in Dunkirk.
