MOUNT BLANCHARD — A nationally-known contemporary Christian recording artist will be offering a free concert on Sunday at Riverdale High School. Carman is a singer, songwriter, actor and evangelist, who has sold 10 million records and holds a world record for solo artists concerts.

ADA — “Shrek: the Musical,” is coming to the Ada School auditorium this weekend. Performances are 7 p.m. today and Saturday, with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday.

ADA – The Ohio Northern University Department of Theatre Arts will present the musical comedy “Young Frankenstein” from April 11 through April 14 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on April 11, April 12 and April 13, with 2 p.m. matinee performances on April 13 and April 14.

LIMA — The Lima Area Youth Orchestra will present its annual Season Finale concert on Sunday, April 14 in the Lima Senior High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Under the direction of Dr. Travis Jürgens, the audience will enjoy a wide variety of classical works, including selections from The Planets, “Simple Gifts,” Haydn’s Surprise Symphony, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.

FINDLAY — Selections from some of the most popular plays and movies will be performed at the University of Findlay’s spring orchestra concert, titled “The Songs from Musicals.” The event will be held on Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the Winebrenner Building’s TLB Auditorium.

Cast members from the Upper Scioto Valley Drama Club are all set to take part in their presentation of the musical comedy “Nonsense in the North Woods.” The show will be presented in the USV auditeria Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, April 14 at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $7.

Hardin Northern's pop a cappella group Awakened Commotion will present a concert on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Special guests include Capital University's The Capitones.

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Star Players, Inc. will present a special one night only performance, Black Tie Broadway, Friday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Star Theatre, 121 W. Wyandot Avenue, Upper Sandusky. The community is invited to join some of their favorite local performers, past and present, for an evening celebrating Broadway through song.

BLUFFTON — A concert featuring Bluffton University’s Camerata Singers and a Masterworks performance by University Chorale and the Bluffton Choral Society will be held at 2:30 p.m. March 31 in Yoder Recital Hall. With Camerata performing first, the concert will include selections ranging from “Requiem Aeternam,” a traditional Latin chant to “Ave Verum Corpus” by Mozart to “Homeward Bound,” words and music by Marta Keen.
