KIRBY — Transfiguration of the Lord St. Mary Chapel will host the annual St. Mary Kirby Festival on July 30-31. Event chairman Curt Frey said Saturday afternoon and evening mostly will consist of events for adults. The festival will kick off at 2 p.m. with registration for cornhole games.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The first ever Heritage Day Festival in the Village is planned in Mount Blanchard on Saturday, Aug. 20 beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting through fireworks that evening.

FOREST — The 2016 Tree Town Festival is slated July 8, 9, and 10 in Gormley Park located on Mary Street in Forest. The festival is sponsored by the Forest Fire Department and Jackson Forest Emergency Medical Service.

ADA — Join the Lima Symphony Orchestra for a free community concert on Saturday, July 2 at 7 p.m. on the campus of Ohio Northern University, Ada. This fun-filled family event will feature patriotic music, movie classics, popular tunes and a tribute to our armed services.

Willy Wonka Kids, a production of the Hardin County Players' Children's Summer Theatre Workshop, will be presented Friday and Saturday nights at the Kenton Middle School auditorium. Show time is 7:30 p.m. both days. Tickets, $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, will be available at the auditorium. Students are admitted free.
