LIMA — The country band “Parmalee” will headline the 7th Annual St. Jude Benefit Concert, sponsored by Lima country radio station 92.1 The Frog, on Friday, April 29 at the Lima Civic Center.

ADA — Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present “The Jason Bishop Show” on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m. Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition.

ADA — Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present New York City’s Ballets with a Twist, which will perform “Cocktail Hour: The Show” on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m.

LIMA — The Civic Center Foundation presents HippieFest 2016, set for 8 p.m. Friday, April 1. Hippiefest was originally put together to celebrate one of the greatest eras in rock and roll history and this year is no different.

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present music from the Baroque era as it was written to be heard – by the warm glow of hundreds of glistening candles in serene sacred spaces. Its Baroque by Candlelight concerts will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima and on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Delphos.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music will present pianist Lucia Unrau and clarinetist Sandra Jackson in recital at the Snyder Recital Hall in the Presser Building on Monday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

MARION — The Palace Cultural Arts Association will present Lynn Trefzger at the Marion Palace Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. For more than 25 years, Trefzger has given life to a trunk full of comical characters.

LIMA — A blues concert by Geneva Red and The Original Delta Fireballs will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 at the Allen County Museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima. Hosted by the Allen County Historical Society, in conjunction with the Blues Committee of Lima, this program is free and open to the public.

ADA — Ohio Northern University’s Department of Theatre Arts will present New York City’s Ballets with a Twist performing Cocktail Hour: The Show on Jan. 30 and 31 at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.
