PILOT still grounded The Hardin County Commissioners office was filled with people anticipating a decision on the PILOT rate to be paid by the Invenergy for the 3,000-acre solar field proposed for the western portion of the county. Victory hears options to deal with flooding problem MOUNT VICTORY — In an effort to lessen some of the flooding issues on East Taylor Street, the Mount Victory Village Council voted to bring in a water jet truck to clear a possibly plugged drainage tile. During its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, council heard from Assistant Hardin County Engineer Luke Underwood on the flooding issue on the street where water is flowing down from fields to the north and through resident Don Stuck’s property.
