Ada board, classified staff OK 3-year contract ADA — The Ada Board of Education approved a new three-year contract with the district’s classified staff, the Ada Classified Association (ACA), at its regular meeting Thursday night. Like the Ada Education Association agreement approved by the board in May, the ACA’s contract includes 3 percent raises annually. Both unions have ratified the tentative agreements. Read More
R’mont board to seek income tax renewal MOUNT VICTORY — Ridgemont School District voters will be asked to renew an income tax at the ballot box this fall. The Ridgemont Board of Education, at its monthly meeting Thursday evening, voted to seek renewal of the district’s .75 percent income tax for five years at the election on Nov. 5.
