Road to close for bridge work The Hardin County Engineer’s Office has announced it has closed County Road 64 between County Rods 167 and 159 for bridge replacement. The project is expected to close the road for three weeks, depending on the weather. Read More
Police reports; June 18 Kenton police An abandoned vehicle was impounded at Hardin Crest Apartments. Officers took an on-station report in reference to the theft of a BiPap machine. A Job and Family Services caseworker stated that a child’s BiPap machine was not returned when she was returned to JFS. The incident is under investigation. Read More

Marsico points to positive experiences as child to promoting fitness at YMCA After 30 years in the accounting field, Frank Marsico spends his days being a part of the Hardin County YMCA family. After serving on the Y board during its building project in the mid-1990s, Marsico stepped away from behind a desk to become the agency's program director. While the position may be part time, for Marsico involvement in the Y organization has been a part of his life since he was a child. Read More
