Farm Bureau unveils membership changes

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) is strengthening its advocacy efforts on behalf of Ohio’s farm and food community with the implementation of a new membership structure. The new membership model enhances the organization’s inclusive approach to ensuring food security, economic opportunity and quality of life for all Ohioans.

Discovery, Greenhand ceremonies at R’dale

The Riverdale FFA chapter held a Discovery and Greenhand ceremony recently for their first- and second-year members. Their were 10 8th graders who earned their Discovery degree: Kayla Dement, Michael Greeno, Cameron Herringshaw, Caleb Letherwood, Josh Lentz, Caleb McCoy, Justin Messmer, Hunter Shane, Blake Vanderpool and Jazlynn Woodriff.

LSO to perform Baroque by Candlelight

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present music from the Baroque era as it was written to be heard – by the warm glow of hundreds of glistening candles in serene sacred spaces. Its Baroque by Candlelight concerts will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima and on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Delphos.
