On Sept. 7 while investigating a sale of illegal narcotics, officers with the Hardin County Crime Task Force arrested Matthew Williams of Lima.

A suspicious noise was reported from a residence in the 500 block of E. North Street.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at the Kenton Community Health Center.

Matt Zickafoose, 421 N. Ida St., reported that his vehicle was entered sometime overnight while it was parked in front of his home. Nothing was taken, but some paint was scratched off by the driver’s side door that he believed was fresh damage.

A shoplifter was reported at Kroger taking four packs of steak. A theft from a vehicle was reported at 507 S. Wayne St.

A report was received that a student at Kenton High School had posted a photo and statement on Snapchat that warned against going to school on Monday, and had an emoji of a revolver attached to it.

A possible theft was reported at B & J Motel. A fight was reported in the 100 block of N. Cherry Street.

A theft was reported at 609 E. Columbus St. An injury accident was reported at the intersection of Maple and Franklin streets.

Friday Mindy Keim, 1037 S. Main St. Apt. 33, was issued a summons for theft.

A report was received from 120 Jennings St. of an unknown male on the porch.
