John Thomas, 1006 W. Carey St., reported that he made arrangements to purchase a vehicle on Craigslist. He got a MoneyGram from Walmart for the $1,800 vehicle price, and somehow, Thomas said, the recipient of the MoneyGram was able to pick up the money without the reference number and without delivery of the vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to a report of domestic violence in progress at Forest Court Apt. 53-E. Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect, Michael Lee Rigney, 409 W. Gage St., Forest, did knowingly allegedly cause physical harm to a family member. He was arrested for domestic violence. An investigation will continue.

Kenton police Four calls were received reporting suspicious persons in the 500 block of E. North Street.

Marie Lamb, Lima, reported telecommunications harassment. James G. Cline, 21 Ewing St., was issued citations for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and willful and wanton disregard for safety.

A theft was reported at Kroger. A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of W. Franklin St.

Officers were requested to 19 Champion Court for a report of a missing juvenile. An accident was reported in the 600 block of E. Columbus Street.

Friday Domestic violence was reported in the 400 block of E. Columbus St.

Possible drug activity was reported at Kenton Village.

Timothy Alan Pierce, 917 Wilson St., was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped in the drive-thru at Porter House West. Upon investigation, it was learned that Pierce had a recently-used syringe in his pocket.
