KHS baseball outhits Pleasant Kenton plated six runs in the first inning and then matched Marion Pleasant the rest of the way in a 16-12 win over the Spartans in a non-league baseball contest on Thursday afternoon. Program connects ONU students with inmates ADA — A group of students at Ohio Northern University is not just learning about the state’s prison system, but connecting with inmates in a course they are likely to remember for the rest of their lives. Dr. Tristin Kilgallon is a criminal justice professor at ONU and three years ago established the Inside-Out Prison Exchange at the university. Read More

College coaches tell KHS students what attributes they look for in their recruits Kenton High School students were told that it takes much more than having outstanding athletic ability to get the chance to compete at the collegiate level. During the college coaches forum for KHS student athletes and parents on Wednesday night, the five coaches that participated all said that while they look at athletic talent, they also look at the individual.
