Wilcox relies on own experience, values donors to Ohio Northern

ADA — From applying for scholarships for Ohio State as a Ridgemont student, to becoming Ohio Northern University’s Director of Development for the Colleges of Business and Law, Dacy Wilcox has come full circle. Wilcox is in her eighth year at the position (13th overall at ONU), one she equates to what may be known as a major gift officer at other institutions.

Rams, Bulldogs split doubleheader

ADA — Ada and Upper Scioto Valley both had torrid days at the plate as the Bulldogs won game one of a twinbill 9-8 before the Rams pulled away for a 32-16 win in game two. In game one Zach Wilson had two hits and three RBIs and Owen Conley and Austin Everhart both had two hits with an RBI to lead the Bulldogs, who had 15 hits in the game.

Ada sweeps Rams

ADA — Ada swept Upper Scioto Valley 13-3 and 15-1 in a softball doubleheader on Saturday. Madisyn Gossard had two hits with two RBIs and Nicki Lehsten added two hits with an RBI to lead the Bulldogs at the plate in the first game.

Not by Choice expanding services to Ada and Bellefontaine locations

New location

After 10 years of providing services and support to cancer victims in Kenton, Not By Choice (NBC) is reaching out to surrounding communities. On Monday, NBC will open a satellite location in Ada’s Restore. On April 22, the new NBC Bellefontaine location will be assisting victims in the Logan County area at Union Station.
