HARROD — Jordan Bailey had a career night with 10 catches for 220 yards and four touchdowns as Ada held off Allen East 49-34 in a Northwest Conference regular season finale on Friday night.

DOLA — Riverside scored 34 second-quarter points on its way to a 41-0 halftime lead and a 54-8 victory over Hardin Northern on Friday night in Northwest Central Conference football.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Teams don’t need any extra motivation to play in a district championship game. The Riverdale girls soccer team has some anyway though as the Falcons face rival Liberty-Benton for the district title Saturday at 1 p.m. at Findlay’s Elmer Graham Stadium.

Week 10 of the high school football season has arrived and with it the matchup that Ben Logan and Indian Lake fans have been awaiting since the end of August. The two 9-0 teams clash for the Central Buckeye Conference title on the Lakers’ home field tonight. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

FINDLAY — There were a few tense moments Wednesday night for the Riverdale girls soccer team in a Division III district semifinal. Bluffton controlled most of the first 20 minutes, but a timely goal by Gabi Rodriguez gave the Falcons a lift.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale girls cross country team is entering uncharted territory this weekend. When the Falcon quintet of Juleigha Collier, Kendra Collier, Audrey Leopold, Isa Renteria and Adrian Digby compete in the Division III regional cross country meet in Tiffin on Saturday, it will be the first time in school history the Riverdale girls have competed as a team in the event.

The Kenton Wildcats have one goal on their minds as they enter the final week of the 2016 football season — to end with a victory over visiting Celina and finish with a winning Western Buckeye League record.
