DOLA — Hardin Northern scored four runs in each of the last three innings it batted in rallying for a 12-10 victory over Lima Perry in Northwest Central Conference softball action on Tuesday afternoon. The Polar Bears trailed 3-0 before scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth and four more in the fifth to go up 8-3.

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Northwestern jumped on top early and never was threatened on the way to a 12-0 win over Ben Logan in Central Buckeye Conference softball action on Tuesday. The hosts, who held Ben Logan to three hits, scored three runs in both the first and second inning and added three more in the fourth before finishing off the game with two in the sixth inning.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale took advantage of nine Bluffton errors on the way to a 20-5 non-conference baseball win on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons, who plated five runs in the first inning and six in both the second and third frames, received two hits and three RBIs each from Alec Loveridge and Brock Davis.

Ottawa-Glandorf took control with a six-run second inning on the way to a 7-2 victory over Kenton in a Western Buckeye League baseball game on Tuesday afternoon. Kenton falls to 5-8 overall and finishes WBL play with a 1-8 mark.

DOLA — Perry scored seven runs in the first inning and added 12 more in the second on the way to a 21-2 win over Hardin Northern in Northwest Central Conference baseball action on Tuesday. The Polar Bears, who fall to 0-14 overall and 0-4 in NWCC action, finished with two hits in the game, singles by Owen Wetherill and Daylin Pees.

LIMA — Lima Central Catholic had two seven-run innings and a six-run inning on the way to a 20-1 five-inning win over Ada in non-league baseball action on Tuesday. The Bulldogs, who drop to 4-12 on the season, had two hits in the game including an RBI double by Austin Amburgey in the fourth inning.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — After building a 3-0 lead, Riverdale held off a late push from Pandora-Gilboa to earn the 4-3 Blanchard Valley Conference baseball win on Monday. The Falcons improve their record to 9-8 overall, 6-3 in the BVC.

BELLEFONTAINE — Springfield Northwestern plated three runs in the top of the eighth inning to pull out an 8-5 Central Buckeye Conference baseball victory over Ben Logan on Monday afternoon.

Ada was the highest seeded area team when the high school softball tournament pairings were announced on Sunday. The Bulldogs, a No. 2 seed, received a home contest and will play either No. 7 Continental or No. 8 Kalida at 5 p.m. May 10.

Several area teams earned home games during the high school sectional baseball tournament draw held on Sunday. In the Division IV Findlay District, Riverdale earned the No. 3 seed and hosts the winner of No. 7 Pandora-Gilboa and No. 8 Arlington at 5 p.m. May 10.
