The Kenton softball team plated runs in four of the first five innings, including three runs in the fifth inning, on the way to a 7-1 Western Buckeye League win over Elida on Tuesday afternoon. Molly Pees had four hits and a pair of RBIs and Jenna Rodenberger added three hits with two doubles and an RBI to lead the Wildcats, who improve to 14-6 overall and finish WBL play with a 6-3 mark.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale smacked 16 hits on the way to an 18-1 five-inning victory over Bluffton in a non-league baseball game on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons, who scored six runs in the second and five in the third before putting the game out of reach with seven in the fifth, improve to 9-8 on the season.

BELLEFONTAINE — Cole Waugh had a triple in the bottom of the ninth inning that scored Dalton Rockhold from first base as Ben Logan defeated Northwestern 4-3 in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game on Tuesday afternoon.

ELIDA — Elida edged Kenton 3-2 in a Western Buckeye League tennis match on Tuesday afternoon. Winning matches for the Wildcats were Kenji Kobayashi, who was a 6-0, 6-2 victor over Evan Yonut at No. 2 singles and Brandon Felter, who topped Tyler Christoff 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 3 match.

BELLEFONTAINE — Springfield Northwestern scored runs in six of the seven innings on the way to an 11-0 win over Ben Logan in a Central Buckeye Conference softball matchup on Tuesday. The Raiders, who allowed two runs in the first, third and fourth innings before giving up single runs in the fifth and sixth frames and three in the seventh, were limited to three hits in the game.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — A seven-run third inning helped propel Bluffton to a 12-2 five-inning win over Riverdale in a non-league softball game on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons, who scored their runs in the first and third innings, received two singles and an RBI from Cayley Trutt and two singles from Janessa Taylor.

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team advanced in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament for the 16th consecutive season by posting a 5-0 victory over Marietta on Tuesday afternoon at University Courts. The second-seeded Polar Bears improve to 21-4 on the year and are now 16-0 in the quarterfinals in the 16-year history of the OAC Tournament.

Kenton wasted little time in taking control, scoring seven runs in the first inning and adding eight more in the second in the way to a 16-0 win over Upper Scioto Valley in a non-league baseball game on Monday.

The Kenton softball team sent 12 batters to the plate and scored six runs in the in the first inning and never looked back on the way to a 19-0 win over Upper Scioto Valley in Hardin County action on Monday. Jenna Clum had a pair of doubles and Jenna Rodenberger and Sydney Bopp both added a double and a single to lead the Wildcats, who after adding a single run in the second inning, scored seven times in the third and five more times in the fourth.

SPRINGFIELD — Northwestern plated three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on the way to a 7-4 victory over Ben Logan in a Central Buckeye Conference softball contest. The Raiders (11-8 overall and 5-6 in CBC play) received a two-run double from Kinzie Jones and two hits and an RBI from Tahlsa Bowshier.
