BELLEFONTAINE — Host Ben Logan was led by Mailiis Simovart with an 87 at its own girls golf invitational on Thursday. Simovart’s score was good for sixth place in the 60 golfer field.

Reserved season tickets for the 2017 Kenton High School football season will be on sale in the high school office beginning next week. Those renewing their tickets may do so from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Reserved seat tickets will be available to everyone from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. All reserved seat season tickets are $35 per seat.

Kenton City Schools students may purchase an all-sports pass at either the high school or middle school beginning Monday. The pass, which costs $40, may be used for admittance to all home regular season high school and middle school athletic events. Ada defeated Ridgemont 247-259 in a dual golf match at Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton on Wednesday afternoon. Jake Colwell carded a 59 on the front nine to lead the Ada golfers. Brevin Sizemore added a 60 and Austin Amburgey chipped in with a 64.

URBANA — The Ben Logan boys golf team carded a team score of 363 to finish third at the Central Buckeye Conference pre-season tournament at Urbana Country on Wednesday. Graham and Urbana tied for first at 352.
