StingRays fall to Marlins

VAN WERT — The Kenton Area Swim Team StingRays competed in a meet with the Van Wert YMCA Marlins on Tuesday, with both the girls and boys taking second place. The girls finished with 150 points, second to Van Wert which finished with 243.

The second farm Reds beat the Dodgers 6-4 in Kenton Little Leauge action on Monday. Leading batters for the Reds were Kole Anspach with a triple and two singles, Oliver Sneary with four singles, Lucas Klotz with three singles, Parker Risner and Slade Taylor with two singles each, and Malachi Blankenship and Cahner Brim both had a single each.

Wildcat baseball players to take their talents to the next level

A new Cavalier

After playing integral roles on one of the most successful baseball teams in school history this past spring, a pair of graduating Kenton baseball players are planning to take their game to the next level. Wildcat starting pitcher Heath Houser and third baseman Nathaniel Leffler inked National Letters of Intent on Thursday to play baseball collegiately.

Leading batters for the Reds were Parker Risner with a triple, Malachi Blankenship and Nirvana Rigney with a triple and single each, Kole Anspach and Slade Taylor with a double and single each, Raleigh Newman and Lucas Klotz both with a double and Oliver Sneary with a single.
