WAPAKONETA — Riverdale placed four players in double figures on the way to a 60-55 win over Marion Local in a semifinal girls basketball matchup at the Wapakoneta Holiday Classic.

McGUFFEY — Holding a 14-point lead after three quarters, Upper Scioto Valley looked to be well on its way to an easy non-conference boys basketball win Friday night.

Cole Houser went 4-0 to win the championship at a 126 pounds as the Ben Logan wrestling team finished ninth in the 18-team East Central Indiana Classic on Friday.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgemont boys basketball team knew it was going into a matchup Friday night against a Parkway team that was a lot bigger and stronger than it was.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Going up against a high-pressure defense, Riverdale’s offensive game never fully clicked during Friday night’s boys basketball contest against Leipsic.

ENON — Ben Logan outscored host Greenon in three of the four quarters on the way to a 43-28 Central Buckeye Conference boys basketball win on Friday night.

DELPHOS — Jaron Sharp led four Kenton players in double figures with 17 points as the Wildcats rallied from an five-point halftime deficit for a 60-51 non-conference victory over Delphos Jefferson on Friday night.

BELLEFONTAINE — Benjamin Logan overcame an early 11-0 deficit to defeat North Union 60-55 Friday night in non-conference girls basketball action.

The Kenton High School bowling teams split a pair of matches with Defiance on Thursday night at Hillcrest Lanes. The Wildcats boys won 2,416-2,156.
