Four area players earn first-team NWCC honors

Several area players received first-team recognition on the Northwest Central Conference All-League volleyball teams that were released recently. Hardin Northern’s Shelby Alloway and Holly Wilson, along with Ridgemont’s Sydney Totten and Upper Scioto Valley’s Callie Daniels all received first team honors.

Raiders ready for school’s first football playoff contest

BELLEFONTAINE — As freshmen four years ago, the current Ben Logan football seniors were part of a team that went 1-9 and finished tied for last in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division standings. After seeing the team’s record improve to 4-6 their sophomore season and 6-4 as juniors, those seniors were optimistic they could accomplish some big things this year.
