LIMA — Kenton went into its game at Bath on Friday night with several question marks on the defensive side of the football after losing senior starting linebacker middle linebacker Austin Buroker to injury for the season last week.

ADA — The good news for the Ada football team is the Bulldogs are still in a good playoff position and scoring margin doesn’t factor in to Ohio High School playoff rankings. The bad news for Ada is it lost 44-0 to Delphos Jefferson on Friday night and quarterback Seth Conley left in the fourth quarter with an apparent injury after a late hit by a Jefferson player.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan dominated Greenon 48-12 on Friday night to stay unbeaten on the season. The Raiders (9-0) led 48-0 after three quarters before Greenon scored twice in the final period.

RIDGEWAY — Ridgemont could not get much going offensively as Lehman Catholic defeated the Gophers 42-0 in a Northwest Central Conference matchup Friday night.

LIMA — After falling behind 21-8 in the first quarter, Hardin Northern scored 38 straight points and went on to defeat Perry 46-27 in Northwest Central Conference football Friday.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — After falling behind early, Van Buren scored six unanswered touchdowns to end the first half on the way to a 41-7 victory over Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference game Friday night.

DOLA — Going into volleyball tournament play, Ada wanted a rematch with Hardin Northern, a team it had lost to in two games in a tri-match during the second week of the season. The Lady Bulldogs showed they were more than prepared for that rematch on Thursday night, defeating the Polar Bears in four games...

EASTWOOD — Ethan Melroy gave the underdogs an early lift, and No. 6 Riverdale played toe-to-toe with the No. 2 seed in the district for about 70 minutes of a very damp sectional final game. Then the floodgates opened.

NEW CARLISLE — Ben Logan rallied from two games down Thursday to defeat Greenon in five games in a Division II volleyball sectional semifinal.

Ben Logan senior Bri Frazier was named volleyball co-player of the year for the Central Buckeye Conference’s Mad River Division after the Raiders won the division title for the second straight year.
