McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley dominated Waynesfield-Goshen early Thursday night and cruised to a 62-43 victory in Northwest Central Conference girls basketball.

LIMA — Ridgemont defeated Perry 50-45 in Northwest Central Conference girls basketball Thursday night.

ADA — Ada overcame a slow start Thursday night to defeat Lima Central Catholic in girls basketball action.

DeGRAFF — Riverside outscored Hardin Northern in every quarter Thursday night on its way to a 42-31 Northwest Central Conference girls basketball victory.

ADA — Ohio Northern used a big run midway through the first half Wednesday to take control of Otterbein on its way to a 100-92 victory for its third straight men’s basketball win. The Polar Bears (8-10, 5-6 Ohio Athletic Conference) led 15-13 with about eight minutes gone in the game, when the 21-6 run started.

URBANA — Ben Logan clinched at least a share of the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division title with a 62-52 girls basketball victory over Urbana on Wednesday.

WESTERVILLE — Amy Bullimore had her fifth double-double of the season to lead Ohio Northern to a 72-69 Ohio Athletic Conference women's basketball victory at Otterbein on Wednesday night.

LIMA — The Kenton Youth Wrestling team had seven boys capture titles Sunday at a mini-meet hosted by Shawnee. As a team, Kenton posted nine pins, 72 takedowns and 19 reversals as the wrestlers went a combined 29-34 on the day.

ADA — Both teams got off to a bit of a sluggish start Tuesday night in a girls basketball contest between Ada and Ridgemont. The Bulldogs found their offensive stroke first and went on to a 78-37 victory.
