DUNKIRK — Micheala Curtis pitched a no-hitter Tuesday as Hardin Northern defeated Perry 10-0 in five innings in Northwest Central Conference softball. Curtis walked only one batter and struck out four in five innings.

ADA — Ada remained unbeaten with a 17-0 five-inning softball victory over McComb on Tuesday. The Bulldogs (4-0) scored three runs in the first, eight in the second, one in the third and five in the fourth.

McGUFFEY — Waynesfield-Goshen scored five second-inning runs and held on for an 11-7 softball victory over Upper Scioto Valley on Tuesday. The Rams trailed 9-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning. USV scored three runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to cut into the Tigers’ lead. McGUFFEY — Kolton Keith and Wayne Lowery combined on a two-hit shutout Tuesday to help Upper Scioto Valley defeat Waynesfield-Goshen 5-0 in Northwest Central Conference baseball.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale left the bases loaded in the sixth and seventh innings and lost 7-3 to Hopewell-Loudon in its Blanchard Valley Conference baseball opener Tuesday.

BELLEFONTAINE — Trevor Dotson won both of the throwing events Tuesday to help the Upper Scioto Valley boys track team place second in a tri-meet hosted by Bellefontaine.

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan scored a pair of runs Monday to defeat Springfield Northwestern 2-1 in Central Buckeye Conference baseball. Northwestern scored a run in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead, but Nick Brown and Cole Waugh held the Warriors scoreless the rest of the way.

BELLEFONTAINE — After starting the season with three straight one-run wins, Kenton upped that Saturday, getting a 10-8 victory over Ben Logan in nonconference baseball.
