After a solid 13-11 first-quarter start, Riverdale got into foul trouble and let North Baltimore’s size dominate in the post as the Tigers ran away with a 69-43 win on Monday night in Blanchard Valley Conference play.

Upper Scioto Valley swept the Northwest Central Conference basketball Player of the Year awards. Ram senior Lane Hurley was selected as the boys Player of the Year and USV sophomore Emily Patton was chosen the girls Player of the Year.

RAWSON — Upper Scioto Valley’s inside-outside duo of Cameron Parker and Lane Hurley were too much for Cory-Rawson, combining for 51 points as the Rams defeated the Hornets 74-58 in a non-league boys basketball contest on Monday night.

RAWSON — Sydney Holderman and Taylor Farmer combined for 43 points for Riverdale in a 68-55 Blanchard Valley Conference victory over Cory-Rawson on Monday.
