BEAVERCREEK — The Ben Logan boys golf team competed at the Beavercreek Invitational on Monday where they placed 13th of 18 teams. Ethan Ricketts carded a 78 to finish sixth overall to lead the Raiders.

McGUFFEY — Utilizing its ground game early, Ada was able to set the tone in the first quarter of Saturday’s inter-county football game against Upper Scioto Valley. On the road, the Bulldogs scored back-to-back 50-plus-yard rushing touchdowns to start the game on the way to a 45-14 victory, their first win of the season.

Bluffton scored both of its goals in the second half to rally for a 2-1 win over Kenton in a boys soccer matchup on Saturday night. The Wildcats, who fall to 6-2-1 on the season, led 1-0 when Riley Risner netted a goal off an assist from Patrick Bartlett with 13:14 left in the first half.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Lexi Miller had three goals to lead Riverdale to a 4-1 girls soccer victory over Mansfield Christian on Saturday. After Haley Frey opened the scoring seven minutes into the game off an assist from Makena Barnes, Miller scored three minutes later off an assist from Frey to make it 2-0.

MARION — Rhea Harner scored two goals to lead the way as Ben Logan defeated Marion Pleasant 5-0 in a non-league girls soccer matchup on Saturday. Josie Davis also added a pair of goals on penalty kicks and Rachel Mears added one tally.

OTTAWA — Kierra Krohmer had a top ten finish to lead the way as the Kenton girls were fourth of 14 teams in the Blue Division at the Ottawa-Glandorf cross country invitational on Saturday. Krohmer was sixth of 115 runners in a time of 20:14.

KANSAS — Riverdale’s Eli Weber was 15th of 157 runners in a time of 17:34.12 to lead the Falcons at the Lakota Invitational cross country meet on Saturday. Riverdale was 11th of 14 teams with 319 points.

CONTINENTAL — Riverdale scored four goals in the first half in cruising to a 6-2 victory over Continental in a non-league boys soccer game on Monday. Coby Miller had three goals to lead the way for the Falcons. Tyler Hart, Brayden Courtney and Logan Frey also found the back of the net for the Falcons, who led 6-0 with 24 minutes left in the game.

GALION — Hardin Northern was 19th of 24 teams in the Division III race at the Galion Cross Country Festival on Saturday. Leading the way for the Polar Bears was Aiden Gatchell, who was 51st in 18:37. He was followed by Jayce Curlis in 101st (20:17), Zeb Wilson in 102nd (20:19), Luke Wilson in 108th (20:41), Jacob Diller in 13rd (22:17) and Leif Trachsel in 134th (22:18).
