KHS boys to host soccer camp The Kenton High School boys soccer coaching staff and players will be holding a summer camp for boys and girls ages 4 though eighth grade from 9-11:30 a.m. July 30-Aug. 2 at the KHS soccer fields. Campers will be grouped by grade/age and will participate in drills that emphasize footwork, shooting, passing and defending. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and a snack each morning. 39 complete 2019 Tree Town Trot FOREST — The Tree Town Trot was held Saturday, July 13 at 8 a.m. It was sponsored by the Hardin County Family YMCA in conjunction with the Tree Town Festival Committee. Kenton sisters competing in Junior Olympic swimming championship Sisters Claire and Chloe Kemmere of Kenton spend a lot of time in the pool, and evidence of that is showing more and more. Claire, age 12, has been swimming for six years and Chloe, age 10, for five. Beginning today and continuing through Sunday, they will be competing at the 2019 Long Course Junior Olympic Championship in Oxford at the campus of Miami University. Read More
KHS to host mini cheer clinic for K-8 students The 2019 Kenton High School mini cheer clinic will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 29 through Aug. 1 at the high school lawn and KHS gym. The clinic, which will be taught by KHS cheerleaders and coaches, will teach the important basics of cheerleading.
