Balanced Riverdale tops USV 57-37 Posted on February 24, 2026 0 MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale had balanced offense and strong defense to close out the boys basketball regular season with a 57-37 victory against Upper Scioto Valley on Saturday night at Riverdale. Grady Haley had 12 points, while Hayden Scott scored 11 points for the Falcons (14-8). Grant Inbody added 10 points, and Cale Young finished with eight points. With 11 points, Hunter Damron was the only player in double figures for the Rams (13-9). Beau Sadners bagged eight points. Andrue Kindle had six points. Caiden Lowery contributed five points. Jesse Prater posted three points. Macoy Underwood and Coleson Oglesbee both had two points. USV was limited to 11 field goals in the game, including three 3-pointers but made 12 of 17 free throws. Riverdale had 25 field goals, including five 3-pointers, and was 2 of 6 on foul shots. The Falcons led 18-10 after one quarter, 29-18 at halftime and 47-29 entering the fourth quarter. Riverdale also won the junior varsity game 42-30. USV hosts New Knoxville at 6 p.m. Thursday for a Division VII sectional title. The Falcons hit the road to take on Columbus Grove in a Division VI sectional final at 6 p.m. Friday.
