Ada’s Silas Riblet wins sectional championship Posted on March 5, 2026 0 LIMA — Ada senior Silas Riblet won the Division III boys wrestling sectional championship in the 126-pound division Saturday at Lima Central Catholic. Ada freshman Carter Dunlap was second at 106 pounds to advance to districts. Also moving on is senior Zaiden Denslow and junior Kale Pederson. Ada finished 11 out of 15 teams with 69 points. Paulding topped Allen East 154.5-150 to win the sectional team crown. Riblet recorded three pins in three matches en route to the sectional crown. He pinned Lima Central Catholic’s Kyllan Martin in the final in 3:58. Riblet improves to 34-5 on the year. Dunlap had two byes into the semifinals, where he pinned his opponent in 66 seconds. Dunlap was pinned at 4:40 by Grant Grubb of Crestview. Dunlap goes to districts with a 22-12 record. Denslow grabbed fourth at 120 pounds after having two byes. In the semifinals, he lost 20-5 by technical fall to eventual champion Langston McClain of Allen East. Denslow won via a 10-6 decision in his first consolation match. He was pinned in 4:39 in the third-place match to finish fourth. Denslow has an 8-15 record on the season. Pederson went 3-2 on the day to place fourth at 138 pounds. He dropped his first match 17-2. Pederson had a bye then won three straight matches with quick pins. Pederson got pinned by Parkway senior Maddox Houts in the third-place match. Pederson has a 13-18 record this year. The Division III district tournament is set for Friday and Saturday at Hobart Arena in Troy.
