COLUMBUS — Hidden falls risks may be underfoot for someone you love. STEADY U Ohio, the state’s falls prevention initiative, encourages you to celebrate this season of love and devotion by helping the people you care about most to prevent falls and fall-related injuries.

Residents at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center in Kenton had a great time at the monthly pizza party. Thirty-two residents attended this activity.

ONU wellness event to feature Medicare discussion

ADA — N. Lee Rucker, a health policy advocate in Washington, D.C., will be the keynote speaker at the Ohio Northern University’s Medicare health and wellness event in the McIntosh Ballroom on Friday, Feb. 5. The event, free and open to the public, will also feature a panel discussion concerning Medicare where regional experts will be on hand to answer attendee questions.

Area Agency on Aging 3 sets meetings

The regular meetings of the Area Agency on Aging 3 Advisory Council will be at 10 a.m. in the third floor conference room, 200 E. High St., Lima, on the following dates: Feb. 17, April 20, June 28 – annual meeting, Aug. 17 and Oct. 19.
