Kenton girls top Elida for 15th victory It wasn’t the prettiest of wins, but in the end it didn’t matter how it looked as the Kenton Lady Wildcats and their four seniors were able to celebrate with the pep band after a 50-38 girls basketball victory over Elida on Thursday night in their final home game of the season. After struggling at times to put the ball in the basket against the Bulldogs’ zone defense through the first three quarters, the Wildcats outscored Elida 18-7 in the final nine minutes of the game to pull away for their 15th win of the season.
