The Hardin County Common Pleas Court and the Clerk of Courts will be closing at noon on Thursday, Dec. 31, announced Carrie Haudenschield, Clerk of Courts.

Smith named to President’s List

LIMA — Kia N. Smith of Kenton has been named to the President’s List for Fall Quarter 2015 in the College of Occupational Professions at the University of Northwestern Ohio. Full- and part-time students must receive a grade point average of 4.0 to be named to the President’s List.

There will be no visitation or funeral services for Hazel M. Bennett at this time. A private graveside memorial service will take place at a later date in West Virginia. She died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

A celebration of life service for Edward Cortes Evans will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the West Mansfield United Methodist Church. Graveside services will follow at Hale Cemetery, Mount Victory. A luncheon at the church will follow graveside services. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mannasmith-Schnurrenberger Funeral Home, West Mansfield.
