Bad quarter hurts HN

WAYNESFIELD — A bad second quarter cost Hardin Northern against Waynesfield-Goshen on Tuesday. The Polar Bears (9-11, 2-4 Northwest Central Conference) were held to one point in the second quarter of a 45-31 NWCC loss.

Services for Dr. Leo Robert Maier Jr. will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bible Fellowship Church in Arlington. Interment will be Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the Riverview Cemetery in Trenton, N.J., at 10 a.m. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Crates Funeral Home in Arlington.

A loving tribute to Patricia Lynn (Sieg) Pfeiffer will be held privately. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mount Victory is handling the arrangements. She died at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a 12-year battle with cancer.
