Hardin Northern senior Morgan Madison was inadvertently left out of Tuesday’s story about Northwest Central Conference girls basketball postseason honorees. Madison earned honorable mention recognition after averaging 2.3 points and 4.3 rebounds a game for the Polar Bears.

Services for Donald B. Crawford will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center by Pastor Kevin Smith. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.

James A. “Big Jim” Miller

The family of James A. “Big Jim” Miller will hold a memorial service to celebrate his life at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hepburn United Methodist Church by Pastor Calvin Waugh. Private burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery at a later date.

Rovert V. “Bob” McCaughin

Age, 71 rural Kenton Arrangements for Robert V. “Bob” McCaughin are pending at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home in Kenton. He died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 at his residence.

Kenton woman injured in crash

UPPER SANDUSKY — A Kenton woman sustained non-incapacitating injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Ohio 67 north of CH 109 in Pitt Township in Wyandot County on Tuesday night. Mandy M. Steele, 22, was transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital after the 10:20 p.m. crash, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

Future leaders sought for Hardin Leadership

The Hardin Leadership Steering Committee is seeking participants for the 2016 class who are looking to develop themselves into positive leaders within the county. The monthly classes are held at various locations around the county and feature such themes as Public Speaking and Presentation Skills, Not For Profit Organizations and Principles of Economic Development to name a few.
