UPPER SANDUSKY – Ohio Ag Equipment announces its intent to acquire the Wyandot County AGCO dealer, Schmidt Machine Company, Ag division, on the target date of Dec. 17, 2018. The acquisition of Schmidt Machine Company’s equipment business will strengthen Ohio Ag Equipment’s ability to service the ag industry by providing customers in central Ohio with an exceptional line of equipment and product support, according to a release from Ohio Ag Equipment.

Marshall W. Wolowicz, a financial advisor with the financial services firm Edward Jones in Kenton, and Tammy S. Bryant, a branch office administrator, recently attended an invitation-only training opportunity at the firm’s headquarters in St. Louis, Mo.

When Jon Cross goes to Columbus in January to become the representative from the 83rd House District, he will remain the CEO and President of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Cross announced at Friday's Economic and Community Development Breakfast that he will continue with the Alliance in a consulting capacity.

DOLA — As the school year began, the Hardin Northern Board of Education established the position of Director of School Improvement and hired Greg Oliver in that role. Oliver submitted his resignation to the board Wednesday to accept a job in the Columbus area.

The Hardin County Board of Elections will hold its official canvass of the Nov. 6 General Election at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse. In addition, the meeting will include paying bills and certifying minutes.
