To the editor: By the time Jan. 22 rolls around, to many, it’s just another cold winter day. However, on January 22 in 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion in all 50 states with their landmark Roe v. Wade decision, creating a direct and immediate threat to the lives of unborn children across our country.

To the editor: Last year Lifeline of Ohio experienced an increase in individuals who passed from a drug overdose and went on to give the gift of life. I’d like to take the opportunity and address the nuances of donation when it coincides with someone passing from a drug/opioid overdose.

Grain marketing topic of breakfast

The 2018 Conservation Tillage Club breakfast program series will continue on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the Plaza Inn Restaurant in Mt. Victory. Each session will start at 7:30 a.m. with complimentary buffet breakfast followed by the program at 8 a.m. Other sessions will be held on Feb. 6 and 20.
