The Kenton Elks Lodge recently recognized area students as Teenagers of the Month for April with a luncheon at the lodge. There were no April honorees from Upper Scioto Valley High School.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — When Riverdale basketball standout Sydney Holderman was looking at places to play collegiality, she knew what she was looking for from an athletic standpoint. But even more important to the Falcon senior point guard were the things she was looking for from an academic standpoint.

On April 4, 71 homemakers and guests gathered to attend the Spring Achievement Day and Cultural Arts exhibit held at the Moose Lodge in Kenton. The theme for this year's program was "Spring-A Fresh Touch.”
